Improv Comedy for Rochester, NY
MICETRO
Improv elimination-style! It's like "Survivor" meets Improv Comedy.
A large group of improvisors are assigned numbers and are chosen randomly by the evenings hosts. After each scene, the audience scores the quality of the scene (1-5), with every improvisor in that scene getting that score. Throughout the night, the lowest scoring improvisors are eliminated, until there is only one champion.

CATCH 23
3 teams. 4 rounds. 23 minutes.
"time is running out..."
Three teams play four rounds with a total cap of exactly 23 minutes. After each round, a team is given points based on the quality of their scene (1-5) from both the audience as well as a judge who maintains the show's PG-13 rating. The team with the most points at the end of the show win the highly-coveted "bragging rights."

COMMAND PERFORMANCE
It's "Choose-your-own-adventure" meets Improv Comedy!.
An ensemble of performers create an entire improvsed play that is audience-suggestion based, and also audience-suggestion driven. Throughout the show, the narrator polls the audience as to what happens next in the storyline.This unique style of improv comedy definitely blurs the lines between audience and performers!

is a long-form improv comedy format--and by tradition--does not require exclusive licensing.
GORILLA THEATRE
where comedy goes to
"EVOLVE" or "DIE"
Three improvisors take turns directing improvised scenes with the audience judging the director's competency by yelling 'EVOLVE' for good directing, or 'DIE' for bad directing. The most successful director wins the highly-coveted prize:
