Swithun is a vision therapist and educational consultant who began his improv journey as a founding member of the University of Rochester's In Between the Lines Improv Troupe. During his three year tenure at Geva Comedy Improv, he created the Pretentious Improv Group at the UofR, and was a guest advisor to the SUNY Brockport & Webster Thomas High School improv troupes. He has taken master level workshops with Armando Diaz and Jimmy Carrane and taken intensive workshops at the Annoyance Theater with Mick Napier, Susan Messing, Mark Sutton, Rebecca Sohn, and Rich Sohn.

Irwin works for the Monroe County Clerks Office. He has taken many and varied classes in the Rochester area, including one's with Carol Roberts and Kristine Nevin.
